Take my city Leicester. 4-5 years ago the child poverty in the city hit around 80k. This is in a city and county of about 680k. This number doesn't include adults. Secondly, Leicester was not the worst hit as they are towns and cities which are worse. |
I agree- I m american and even the basic freedoms expressed in our Constitutions have been eroded just in my lifetime
That is an amazing (amazingly sad) statistic about the child poverty levels in Leicester- What are the basic causes behind those high poverty rates?
