As cool as that is, my question is how does it fair against the x1 versions? There have been a few games from MS that seem to require 970 with very little visual difference than the x1 version apart from the usual resolution even though a 970 is far more powerful.

What I am trying to get at is, if the x1 version looks similar to what a 970 is able to do, its not really pushing PC to its limits from a jaw dropping zomg graphics point of view but rather, shit optimization point of view.

"Shit optimization". - I always hate sayings like these, mainly because they're actually used wrong. Things can't have "bad", "poor", "shit" optimization. Not a big deal, just one of my pet peeves with people and the English language (as is when people say "you have bad logic" or "I don't understand your logic". ;P

Next, the X1 version won't have many of those extra details. It rests between Medium and High Settings.

Neh, shit is usually more impactful :P

And yea, it won't have many of those extra details but my point is, where does a 970 fit in? Is it high at 1080p? Cause as an example, we look at Forza Horizon 3, a 970 really struggles to keep up with 60fps with ultra settings which it more than should be able to:

And of course, the x1 is at high settings and runs at 1080p native + 30fps.
