The Mass Effect Andromeda release date has apparently been leaked on theofficial website of its companion art book by Dark Horse.

While BioWare has yet to confirm when the hotly anticipated science-fiction RPG will hit stores, Dark Horse has said that the accompanying art book will release day-and-date with Andromeda on March 21, 2017.

Mass Effect Andromeda release date set for March 2017

Of course, this could very well be a placeholder, although it does tie in with what we already know; Mass Effect Andromeda is slated to release by the end of Electronic Arts’ financial year, ending March 31. Still, it’s probably best not to read too much into this right now, at least until we hear something official.

Mass Effect Andromeda is currently in development for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One. The game takes place in an entirely new setting to the original trilogy, namely the eponymous Andromeda region, and sees players followingnewcomer Ryder as you explore uncharted worlds in hopes of finding a suitable home for humanity.

The Mako from the original Mass Effect will be returning for this latest instalment in the series, allowing players to fully explore new planets with their squadmates. In addition, Mass Effect Andromeda will also support Sony’s upcoming PS4 Pro system, and was showcased running on the new hardware during the PlayStation Meeting.

New information on Mass Effect Andromeda is expected to drop during the annual N7 Day celebrations this November. Stay tuned.
