For now it will do nothing for Gear VR consumers. It's meant for everyone else.
In the long run there will be a lot more headsets, likely surpassing the Gear VR ind quality and features and content that you can't get on Gear VR.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
