No, I think you're the one who's confused.

Admittedly, the demo I downloaded did say Final Fantasy, but I was running around with a real time hack and slashish battle system, wandering through my own dream, playing as a pubescent boy, riding in toy trains, and fighting heartless looking mother fuckers.  Clearly what happened was Square mislabeled their Kingdom Hearts 3 demo.
