RESIDENT EVIL 7 VR IS "EXCLUSIVE TO PLAYSTATION VR" FOR A YEAR
http://www.pcgamer.com/resident-evil-7-vr-is-exclusive-to-playstation-vr-for-a-year/
We recently spoke to Resident Evil 7: Biohazard game director Koshi Nakanishi about the series' "switch to first-person VR," in which he described the first-person perspective as the "optimum" way to inflict horror on modern (read: jaded) gamers. Strapping the game directly to your face by way of a VR headset promises, in theory at least, to intensify the effect even further by injecting players directly into the unpleasantness. But it may be a much longer-than-expected wait before PC gamers get to sample the full experience.

>>Someone gives a f*ck? Anyone? Ok, that's what I thought. In any case, if you have something to say, go to LivingMetal's thread. But be careful! It's in the Sony Discussion subforum.

DIGITAL HOMICIDE WITHDRAWS LAWSUIT AGAINST STEAM USERS, SAYS STUDIO IS "DESTROYED"
http://www.pcgamer.com/digital-homicide-withdraws-lawsuit-against-steam-users-says-studio-is-destroyed/
Digital Homicide, the maker of games including The Slaughtering Grounds, ET: The Extra-Large Testicle, and Not In My Crapper, recently made the astounding decision to sue 100 anonymous Steam users for $18 million over nasty comments they'd made about the studio's work. In response, Valve removed all of the studio's games from Steam, prompting Digital Homicide to threaten legal action against it as well. But last week it requested that the lawsuit be dismissed, because it can no longer afford to pursue it.

>>Plot twist: those who criticized their games were the only ones buying them . Not really, but if they have money problems from not having their games on Steam for a couple of weeks, it's that they were already in deep problems.

DARKEST DUNGEON IS GETTING A NEW PLAYABLE CLASS IN THE CRIMSON COURT DLC
http://www.pcgamer.com/darkest-dungeon-is-getting-a-new-playable-class-in-the-crimson-court-dlc-coming-next-year/
Darkest Dungeon is a party-based dungeon exploration game that basically simulates what would happen if real people were forced to delve into a real dungeon infested with real monsters. Sure, maybe you come out of it with a bag full of gold or some cool treasures, but you'll probably also have some deep psychological scars to deal with, or at the very least a nasty drinking problem.

SUDA51'S THE SILVER CASE OUT THIS WEEK
http://www.pcgamer.com/suda51s-the-silver-case-out-this-week/
Grasshopper Manufacture's The Silver Case, a Japanese-only visual novel that originally came out in 1998, is being remastered for modern times, and for a Western audience. It'll be out on Playism, Humble and Steam on October 7, and it looks a bit off-the-wall, as you'll realise if you've played the demo, or indeed any of Suda51's (Killer 7, No More Heroes) other games.

SUPERNATURAL STEALTH GAME ARAGAMI OUT TODAY
http://www.pcgamer.com/supernatural-stealth-game-aragami-out-today/
Aragami, previously known as Twin Souls: Path of the Shadows, is a third-person, supernatural stealth-'em-up starring an undead assassin who's quite fond of the colour red. I've been loosely following its development for a while now, and I've just learned today that it's out...today. You might say that it snuck up on me, but of course I would never say such a cliched thing about a stealth-focused game. Let's just say instead that the game has crawled out of the shadows and ow-ow, alright, I won't say that either.

ANNO 2205: FRONTIERS DLC OUT NOW, ADDS CYBORGS
http://www.pcgamer.com/anno-2205-frontiers-dlc-out-now-adds-cyborgs/
Blue Byte's futuristic citybuilder Anno 2205 gets a new expansion today in the form of Frontiers. What does Frontiers add, exactly? I mean, that's quite a name to live up to. Turns out Frontiers adds cyborgs, something I think we can all agree was missing from the gleaming skycraper game at launch.
