i don't think i would have ever taken advantage of a refund policy but i still think it is a good idea. the policy in place by steam seems pretty fair to me,.. if you're going to ask for a refund you should ask for it after playing the game for only an hour or so.
where i really want a refund policy is on pre-orders. better yet,.. don't take my money until the game ships sony. i should be able to cancel a pre-order. i really, really should be able to cancel a pre-order on base version of a game so that i can upgrade to a better edition that includes season passes or whatever. i've been very trigger shy on pre-ordering anything on psn until the game is only a week out.
