Common knowledge? Thats why no one who owns the game ever had these massive problems that game reviewers say they had. Its also common knowledge that they wii is two GC's duct taped together. And wii Mario Kart looks worse then DD mario Kart. |
You haven't even played it, have you? I played a lot of Mario Kart: DD as recently as 6 months ago and Mario Kart Wii looks a lot better, especially with the new maps. There's no question, and it's not even close.
There are also many other advantages -- true widescreen support, 12 players at a time on maps, you can race against computer opponents with 3 and 4 players locally, etc. The game is much more chaotic than previous Mario Kart games, primarily due to the fact that courses are harder and there are more players packed on them, but it's a great time.
Mario Kart Wii brings online competition to Mario Kart. People who are used to dominating are struggling because they have so much more to contend with. That was this main complaint by the guy who put this on the "most disappointing" list. But it clearly does not belong on that list as the game is freakin' awesome. It's easily the best game released this year so far on any platform.
