Technically they do refunds. I got a refund once off Sony. I pre ordered watch dogs on ps3 by mistake. Then I had to go and pre order it on ps4 again when it launched. So I had 2 versions. I rang them, said I hadn't even started up the ps3 version and would like a refund. No problem at all. Refund granted.
