Considering how long it took for people to leave their first galaxy, the idea of the 2 hour refund thing not applying for No Man' Sky is an exception right? What happens with the next game that "didn't meet expectation" but is a perfectly fine game? People will say to steam "But you did it for No Man's Sky".
I think many might have done it, sure but many more wouldn't.
This said I think in reality, PS Store and XB Store should offer exchange games programmes, where you can exchange the game you've downloaded and played for a 1/4 of what you purchased it for or the current value, which ever is lower (they give up their licence purchase). This way people will/may be more willing to buy more games from their stores knowing that they can save by exchanging ones they have completed, don't want anymore or didn't like. I say didn't like because a competant game but you didn't like is not reason to get a full refund (in the gaming industry... no idea this is the case mind you, I mean game shops won't take a game back at full price if you've opened the box but how will you know if it's working if you've not opened it. :P).
Hmm, pie.
