The problem here is the mainstream want games like the psvr will get and at that low a price.  I'm part of that mainstream.  That's the ultimate product for me.  Lots of AA,  AAA and some indie content.  A reasonable price point and a nice product.  No high risk cost entry either.  Well it's high risk just not super high which is what I'd need to spend and many others to buy the Vive and build a gaming pc. My powerful pc is for work only now.

We dont know what the mainstream wants. They might all turn their heads and laugh at the idea of paying 400 for a device to stick on their heads. They might be very happy with their google cardboards. This isnt about the mainstream it was about me and you and my reply to you was based around that.

Your new reply is doing nothing more then changing goal posts and trying to switch your post once again.

Anyway i had enough of this boring convo thats going no where, Im off to play fallout 4 in VR on "My" ultimate machine right now using my cheap VR goggles till i get my hands on PSVR to use on my pc and make that baby really sing.

You said you were going to play on the ultimate machine... and during the whole convo you were sure to point out Vive was the ultimate machine, where would we get that impression right?

So sucessful (and handfull, well couldn't even fill one hand) that they got hiatus of over 10 years. You have been discrediting everyone in this thread so far, so for you to have the nerve to act holy and high is great to see.

You said you have the ultimate VR, and before you said Vive is the ultimate VR... so where did Conina took that idea from?

I think you guys should look back over my post its clear your seeing things.

Yep checked and not seeing things.

You just said you were done replying and were off to play F4 on your Vive?

I expect psvr to sell a million in the first year.  Basically a lot more successful than Vive and oculos.

Point out where i said that.

And as to what it will sell in its first year i guess we will see. But remember this the was a lot more 3D tv's then 1 million sold in its first year yet Sony still dropped 3D support.

I just pointed out. And since you think putting 1k in desktop HW plus 800 on Vive, why wouldn't vive be your cheap VR headset?

And Sony still manufacture 3D TVs (mine is 4K 3D tv), console still support it, but they probably stopped launching 3D content on their AAA games because the resources drain versus the people asking for it didn't made any sense.

Kinect sold 20M+ on Xbox360 and still was forgotten on X1 even with like 10M sold.
