He was using Vgchartz numbers, to be fair. The fact that they're off by almost half is... interesting. That being said, yea, SFV's not doing well at all. They've said they're not going to release any additional editions of it, I wonder if they intend to stick to that. Pokken's doing ridiciculously well considering it's the first one and it's on the Wii U.

There might be an undertrack, there might not (we initially overtracked it), but different things are being compared here which makes it unfair to invoke the 'lol VGC numbers' meme.

- Capcom's Platinum sellers list includes PC and PS4 sales, both at retail and digitally. As of June 31st the total for Street Fighter V is still 1.4 million on that list.

- As of June 31st we have it at 733k on PS4 at retail. Digital will likely account for at the very least 20% of its sales on PS4. Add 29k PC retail sales to the figure. Then add in digital PC sales (Steam accounts for 180k+/- according to Steam Spy estimates, tho obviously it was lower at the end of June). Then add copies still on shelves. Not so far off 1.4 million at all I'd imagine. If we had its retail total ahead of Pokken's (866k) then we'd probably be overtracking it at retail again.

In short, I'm happy with where the figures are at right now, though I'm of course open to adjusting if new data comes along that suggests otherwise. Lots of titles where our figures can be heavily criticised, but I don't think this is one of them.

Seems fair enough, though if nothing else, this proves how neccesary digital sales tracking is becoming. 800k to 1.4m is quite a large gap, especially considering a good amount of people seem to think that VGChartz is 100% accurate.
