It's basically the same reason why Microsoft doesn't have a game console, so that people buy more Windows. Oh wait.

I don't think Microsoft automatically makes money off of sales of games that run on Windows. Microsoft does make money off of new games that sell on XBox.

You know who also makes money from people buying games for their console? Sony. So insisting that Sony would intentially make PS4 less desirable just to sell something that makes them way way waaay less money is ridiculous and shows that some people don't know how to business.

It's like saying that Microsoft kills Xbox music capabilities so people buy more Zunes.
