Been so low compared to what?. How many units has the PSVR sold? how many units has vive sold? how many units has Rift sold?.

Low compared to the number zero.  Rift and Vive haven't shipped much at all and it's no surprise.  They're far from the ultimate vr experience in the eyes of the mass market.  

 

If any device has the ability to get this ball rolling it's the psvr.  Affordable,  and lots of gaming software support.
