Persona 5 shipments top 550,000, free swimsuit and Catherine costume sets due out October 5 in Japan

(Well, the Catherine set is free for a limited time.)

Total shipments of Persona 5 have reached 550,000, including both retail and download sales, Atlus announced. The game launched for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 in Japan on September 15.

To celebrate the breakthrough, Atlus is releasing two new costume sets in Japan on October 5.

The first is the “Swimsuit Set,” which will let players wear their beach clothes even in the Palace. It will be available free of charge.

The second is the “Catherine Costume & BGM Special Set.” It includes the “Adults Who’ve Lost Their Way Costumes” and “Catherine ‘Nightmare’ BGM & Battle Single,” as well as the exclusive “Lambs’ Pillow” accessory item. It will be available free of charge from October 5 to 10, and cost 800 yen after that period.

Persona 5 is due out for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 in North America and Europe on February 14.
