Miyamotoo yes marketing was bad, but there are plenty of people that do know what the Wii U is, and dont want it either.

Its bigger than just a marketing problem.
Its the hardware itself, and the games for it, just arnt enough to draw people into buying it.

That is a bigger problem than their marketing.
There are too many people that simply dont want a Wii U.

Even if it had the worlds best marketing, it would still have failed.

Of Course that they are people know for Wii U and they just dont want to buy it, most of fans and gamers know about it, but you can bet huge number of casuals didnt know about it or they misunderstood it, and huge number of Wii owners were those same casuals.

I didn't said that marketing is only problem or that Wii U would be success with just a great marketing, its combination of bad decisions and problems, but single biggest one is marketing. Revile and marketing is were all starts, if revile and marketing were good more people would be aware of Wii U and on train for Wii U, that means better sales, better sales maybe means 3rd party wouldn't be abandoning Wii U so soon, and Nintendo maybe wouldnt abonding Wii U so soon...

I wrote that IMO second biggest problem was weak launch 1st year lineup and software drought followed by high price of Wii U. If Wii U had good marketing, Mario Maker and Splatoon for instance for launch and 1st year without software drofth, and affordable price, Wii U would sell much better than actually did, and definitely wouldn't become worst selling Nintendo console.

Agree that even with just a good marketing Wii U would failed, but definitely would sell noticeable better, maybe even would hit GC numbers, but still would failed, like I wrote reavile and marketing is where all starts mess that and you will have very big problems reterning espacily if you have other bit problmes folowing like Wii U did.

Wii U really was bloody mess, there is reason why is worst selling Nintendo console.
