I really do think that Target genuinely screwed up the promotion, as every other retailer clearly posted that the free games were supposed to be $59.99 or less. I'm sure Microsoft certainly doesn't mind, as Target will likely have to foot the bill for their screw up, and are selling more Xboxs than they would otherwise, but I really don't think this was intended. When Amazon price matched, that was just Amazon being Amazon. They tend to match whatever sale other retailers are doing, even those that seem less than intentional.
