I think the main problem is the revolving door.  You are a CEO or near top position, lobbyist, etc at some pharmaceutical company and then you go work for the FDA, and then you go back to well reserved job in industry (this might repeat a few times).  Happens with the Food industry also.  Same could be said when Bush pushed his pro coal lobbyist into the head of the EPA.  I don't like the revolving door.  You have people from industry that want to maximize profits while trying to get rid of all safeguards.  These are the people that are supposedly looking out for your best interest when really they are just looking out for their own.

I know the FDA is a joke now because they have been gutted for far too long.  They have like 1 person that is supposed to oversee numerous companies if not entire industries.  It just isn't possible.  I believe George W Bush was pretty heavy handed on neutering the FDA.  I know a little about the food industry through horror novels such as Fast Food Nation.  Sometimes it is best not to think about it but considering everyone needs food to survive it should be one of the top government agencies but usually it just gets ignored.

Like the Hillary Clinton, DNC revolving door.

You know how 2008 Hillary Clinton's advisor is now the head of the DNC. And the former head of the DNC is now her vice president running mate.

Really makes a Bernie Sanders supporter have faith in that system.

That's why people want to vote for Trump. It's a chink in the millions of revolving doors in politics. Is it a good chink? Can't say, but it is a chink.

Yes the revolving door thing is never ending in that world. There should already be laws stopping things like that from happening but of course no politician is going to take up that fight.

Look I know Trump isn't the best guy for this job. It's literally the only way I can think of to stick it to "the man" and try and do something different. Is it the right way? I don't know. Will it do or change anything? I have no idea. The issue is I have no idea how to do anything about any of this. If anyone has any ideas I'd love to hear them. What I do know is voting for HIllary will guarantee that things just keep operating as is and I can't accept that.
