Seriously, did you know Mario had a moustache because those were places that the game creators did not draw pixels (to save on the memory and display count). Funny how characters begin their days.
Rare ain't what it used to be (bad thing for fans of Perfect Dark, Conker, and now it looks like Banjo).
Characters change -- Mickey and Donald don't look like they did in the 1920s and 1930s. Homer and Bart don't look like they did when they first showed upon the Tracy Ulman show. So evolution is part of video game character life. Hopefully though it is improvement.
