I'm glad you realize your own shortcomings, even if you don't know how ignorant you sound when you typecast 300 million people.  We have states bigger than the United Kingdom.  If you thought about it, you'd know how silly that is but I get the feeling this isn't about you thinking, it's about you being passive aggressive.  Maybe that's a thing with you English, I don't know.
