- no big show left Its going to be a hard sell, when I look at potential buyers like my sisters, who both own a wii and a 3ds, they are both buying new consoles in the holliday to play some games with their kids and play world of final fantasy and final fantasy 15, I told them there was a new console coming couldn't tell them what it was, they might concider it next holliday season or after a strong showing else bamm, thats the target market, its too short. They don't need to sell it to you, you are a Nintendo fan, there are many people like you but they need to get in tune with that wii-crowd again, its really hard to promote something in oktober, when there is a holliday season to steal your thunder and no big show to really show it off, how many people will watch whatever nintendo does in the time between now and march, the people that would have bought it regardless. Just my opinion, but I think and hope it will be a later release date with a good show-off before they launch it, they would need to do that to convince me too, for sure. And this thing needs to launch well |
-you really don't need big show, you just need good revel and marketing
-of course you have holiday season before beacuse March is release date
-those are all february titles, you dont have anuthing for now in March, and offcourse that new platform with Zelda and some other stronger title will be much stronger than any other title
-Of Course, but for that you just need good revel, good product, affordable price and strong launch lineup (bascicly on all this Wii U failed)
Fact is that you reveal NX before holiday season that people are aware that brand new Nintendo console with brand new great Nintendo games are coming in March right after holiday season, in order that some people save their holiday money. It seems that Nintendo is aiming mass market with NX same like they aiming with Wii, that doesnt mean only Nintendo fans and core gamers, if console have good revel, solid new concept (hybrid devaice is actualy very good concept, handheld and home console in one), afordible price, good marketing and great launch lineup (we know Zelda is there), NX will sell good even in March.
