Does hdmi even support analog audio? I'm sure glad my ones and zeros can get through distortion free :)
HDMI can suffer from signal degradation too, yet that's easily recognized as video corruption. Dunno what this bollocks in that add is haha
Diamond HDMI incorporates AudioQuest’s highest-performance, lowest-distortion Perfect-Surface Silver conductors. Silver is known for its high conductivity and its “colorless” sonic presentation. Perfect-Surface Technology applied to extreme-purity silver provides unprecedented clarity and dynamic contrast. Solid conductors prevent strand interaction, a major source of cable distortion. Extremely high-purity Perfect-Surface Silver minimizes distortion caused by the grain boundaries that exist within any metal conductor, nearly eliminating harshness and greatly increasing clarity compared to OFHC, OCC, 8N and other coppers.
I guess if you pay $130,000 for an 8K tv and $180,000 for a pair of speakers, $1,000 for a cable is nothing. Damn a 10.2 surround setup with those speakers would set you back a million.
