Should a hypothetical Team Fortress 3 add more characters?

Why do you think I said hypothetical? Anyway, this thread is asking if Valve should add characters, not if it would.

Sorry I couldn't resist.  I believe they should add some perhaps but should make sure everything is balanced.  Problem with adding too many is that things tend to get unbalanced with the more characters there are in a game.
