That depends if we know the purpose of the simulation. Its purpose may be simply to manipulate it and enter the host universe in some form or another so "they" can figure out how to manipulate "their" universe/simulation and possibly find a way to escape into their own host simulation, climbing the ladder of simulations and so on until they found Universe one, the OG. |
What a stunningly creative idea. I've actually done this before... we all have. What you describing isn't a simulation (in the classical sense)... its a dream.
A dream is a simulated universe inside of our head. We can talk with people and the people that we are talking to don't realize that they are just simulations inside of the dreamers mind. In fact, if you don't believe me, try telling someone in your dream that they aren't real. They wont beleive you. Imagine their reaction if they relised that their existance would cease to be the moment you woke up. Even that the form of yourself that they are interaction with is also just a simulation. It stands to reason that we could be a simulation in someone else's dream. Maybe a computer's 'dream'. Sure. Its possible. And since dreams don't have to start at the beginning of the universe, but a beginning is always implied - the beginning of the simulation may not have even started yet. The actual start of the universe may be trillions of years from now. After all, you never start a dream at the beginning of time. But the beginning of time still exisists.
