Pro and NX are going after 2 different markets. Reggie made it clear to say that. If Nintendo doesn't want to include an 8+GB graphics processor, a decent CPU, and comfortable architecture then that market that PS and XB have will never come to Nintendo consoles and I think that's what Nintendo wants. They want to go after a different and bigger market, albeit difficult to successfully court.
I believe NX will be a low cost console that is fairly powerful but with a gimmick that makes it very appealing. Nintendo's games sell the best on their consoles so as long as their games look amazing, which they will, then NX is in a realm of its own. Along with heavy Japanese 3rd party support, I'm sold.
