| Slimebeast said: Damn it, is noone actually gonna buy VR?! And Sony VR has a bad quality in the original PS4, and I haven't yet heard anything that convinces me it runs in beautiful grafix on the PS4 Pro. Also, PS4 VR while cheaper is still quite expensive to play more or less "demo experiences". You just get into a world, look around at the marvel and experience it for 20 minutes at a a time, they not feel really like games. But still, it's so sad that our members simply aren't excited for VR. I want the first generation of HTC Vive to sell 10 million copies, and Oculus Rift to sell 5 million and the PS4 VR to sell 20 million, but they will probably only sell like 10% of that. |
It's on top of my list. It's my local store that still has no clue whether they can get psvr this year. Yet they already know to call me when it becomes available.
Why do you say it has bad quality on base ps4? So far I've only read good things about it. It has gone quiet though thanks to the 4K console battle firing on all cylinders. And just demo experiences? Play all of DC plus new city tracks in VR, that's not a demo. I'm also wondering what the pro can bring, true 120fps instead of 60fps reprojected, or is it going to use supersampling and stay at 60fps.
I'm going to hold off on the 4K hype. True 10 bit HDR tvs are simply not mature enough yet and/or ridiculously expensive like the ZD9 and KS9000. Plus I prefer projection, bigger screen over sharper pixels, immersion over realness, hence VR is first for me.
I want new experiences most, hence I just enjoyed Virginia on ps4, not really a game either. Well PSVR and TLG! And a mini NES. Anything but the next realistic looking shooter :) PSVR asap, ship some to Canada Sony!
