I always did. I remember when I was 10 my mom threw away my N64 boxes doing spring cleaning, I was so pissed. So while I do, it did not always come to pass.
As a grown adult however, I keep everything they come in. The only games that do not have their box or case are older games I got off of ebay. In that case I just put them in a protective plastic case designed for the cartridge. If the game is disc based though, I will only buy those with the original case.
