The main issue is the strangle hold YouTube has on access to so much video content. Unlike a message board such as VGC that appeals to a niche and has thousands of competitors YouTube operates largely unopposed. The idea of having virtual witch hunts with channels having to prove their innocence is detrimental to the site and society in general. Part of living in the marketplace of ideas is managing ideas you find disagreeable. With such broad terminology this ability to mass flag could be easily abused by those in power.
