That is true. I just feel like it would only ever have a chance at being successful if almost all the big Youtubers were to do it. Like it would need to be a almost completely unanimous thing to work in my opinion from almost all the big Youtubers for it to have any effect of moving people to a different site to watch those channels.

I love Youtube, i've had a channel on it since 2008, but they are just making really dumb decisions as of late to the point where I wouldn't be surprised if something like this were to happen if they keep going at this rate.

Youtube, Facebook, and Twitter. These are super sites that I dont see going away anytime soon, unfortunately.

Yeah, I don't see any of those going away ever for a long time either, maybe even never unless something drastic were to happen that somehow made Google unable to run those sites, but even then if that were to happen someone else would most likely just buy the sites and run it themselves. I personally don't have a problem with any of those sites, except with what Youtube has been doing lately, but it does show the problem of what can happen when a company has such a monopoly in any sort of thing. They start doing shitty things just because they can get away with it and because they know there isn't really a competitive enough alternative currently out there, so people don't have much option of where else to go and they have nothing to worry about.
