Im not planning on getting a Occulus rift, and stuff like this makes me not want to support them either.

This is where the problem is though as Facebook now owns Oculus and they didn't say this. 

I guess thats abit unfair then yeah.

Has Facebook fired the guy that said those things? or does he not work at/with Oculus Rift anymore?

If so Facebook should issue a PR statement.
