I just picked up my first mechanical keyboard recently too. I really liked the MX Blues felt/sounded, but I could bet it'll get annoying if I'm on a phone call or skype call playing games with friends. I'll just have to find a cheap MX blue keyboard for work then 
I somehow ended up getting a deal that was too good to pass up on the Strafe RGB with the Silent Red switches.
