Here we have 8 seasons
Jan-Feb Freezing cold, -20c river freezes shut, beautiful blue skies with powder snow that looks like tiny diamonds.
March Mud/flood season, the mess that comes after
April-May Spring, warm cold weather swings, can still snow
June Hot and humid
July Bone dry
August Hot cool weather swings with occasional big storms and tornado warnings
Late September-October Indian summer
November-December Depressing drab brown pre winter
March, November and December can be missed imo.
