Is the PS4 Slim proving to be a bit of a market failure, relatively speaking?

It's almost like PS4og is already slim that there's really no incentive for people to slim down, and for basically no performance improvement (though quieter and lower power consumption, I assume) there seems to be not much reason to choose slim for a first time, or do a sideways "upgrade" to Slim. And with PS4P around the corner at a really decent price a decent number of people are holding off to get that, hence being #3 in the Sept monthly chart 2 months before PS4P's launch.

And so it also surprises me that Xb one is not the leading on-market sku. I would have thought the delaying effect of PS4P pre-orders would at least put Xb one marginally ahead.

The only reason OG Ps4 is selling more is called Call of Duty bundle, once Ps4 Slim Cod bundle it, it's done.

I should think Sony will want the bundle on the PS4P. SOny wants to get as many PS4Ps out in the wild as possible, and putting CoD exclusively on a Pro bundle will do that. It's not like CoD isn't going to sell a shit tonne on PS4 without a Slim bundle. The strategic thing is around selling Pro, not Slim. Id CoD gonna have true VR support? I will it just be playable in cinema mode?

Slim might get some of the more family friendly bundles. IMO
