They should if they want to berate the others for not being "true" 4k.
They should mandate that all future games for scorpio must run 4k, if they plan to try and sell it like that vs what the other guys have.
Otherwise you end up in a situation of neither really does native 4k? so whats better about this product vs the other?
Which isnt going to help, when sony has momentum of this gen, a years headstart, stronger brand ect.
