I do not really trust any reviewers. They are not hardcore gamers like us, they are hardcore gaming journalists. And in order to achieve their job security, most of them have to be dishonest or sensational.
It is like advertisements, I do not trust something that is hardcore advertised. A big example is Game of War with Kate Upton ads.
The only thing you should trust is yourself, and word of mouth certainly helps some games.
