Well online political tests generally have me fairly center with slight right leanings, and very libertarian. I don't think I can be considered republican though since I'm athiest, pro-choice, and have no problem with gay marriage. With that said I'm turned off by all the candidates this time but especially Hillary and Obama. I see McCain as the slim pickings we have left...its either that or starve to death .../sigh...

This is easily the most appealing thing about his candadacy to me.
I absolutely loath the bartering that goes on in congress on both sides of the isle. They sell out on one issue to win another rather than actually debate the merits of each issue and reach a solution. I'd love to see a law that limited each bill to a single logical topic and completely do away with pork barrel spending and the need for the line item veto.
