My absolute favorite game type has to be a 50/50 split between JRPG and top down classic RPG's like NeverWinter Nights and Divinity: Origins of Sin.
Next on the list is Strategic Mutli-player FPS games, like Counter-Strike and Battlefield games. (Battlefield is strategic if you actually communicate and play with your squad, it adds a lot)
