They make newer better ones than your remember Im sure.. and yes the the pro's swear by them in E-sports (input lag).
As do most programmers and others that write alot (accuracy).
Im pretty sure for like 90%+ of us on this forum, the tiny bit of input lag advantage such a keyboard would give, wouldnt make any damn differnce in how well we played competitive games. Most of us would probably value a less noisy keyboard over any benefits a mechanical keyboard could give.
