Kojima Productions has set an internal release date for Death Stranding, its E3 2016-announced PlayStation 4 open-world action game starring Norman Reedus, studio boss Hideo Kojima said during a Tokyo Game Show 2016 stage event.

Kojima also said that the game will feature a new form of co-op play, but will also be fully playable in single-player.

Damn son that's a long time from reveal to launch if it is 2020 release.

Is Kojima just trolling us and basically saying before the 2020 olympics to make people think it's a 2020 release whilst actually meaning more like 2018 since thats before the olympics.

If it releases in 2020 it could just straight up be a PS5 game.
