Jets had a similar game to last week. They dominated on both sides of the ball, yet still almost found a way to lose. As a Jets fan, it's hard to complain too much about a 37 point game, but they have to clean up those mistakes. If they do, this team could be a real contender.

In last weeks game the D line dominated but the secondary was terrible.  It might have been the first time a team sacked the opposing quaterback seven times and he still eneded up with over 300 passing yards and a win.

It was the same kind of game where the Jets were controlling the game 90% of the time, then would let up a huge play.  For most of the game, the Bengals offense was almost completely ineffective, but then there were like 3 50+ passing yards plays.

I was kind of hoping that was just a matter of the Bengals being good, but Tyrod Taylor is no Andy Dalton, and Goodwin is no AJ Green.  It's still early in the season, so naturally I'm going to hope that those plays were just abberations.  Busted coverages just happen now and then, and hopefully it's just a matter of bad luck, or the fact that Revis was a bit limited in the offseason that is causing them to happen.

If that's the case, then the Jets are a playoff caliber team.  If not, then they're going to be in trouble, because while I think their offense is good, they're not going to put up 37 points a game.
