Your against a Person using Emulation as a "Pro" on PC even if that person has an original copy of the game that they got new just cos some could be using it illegally. However you list "Used" games as a "Pro" for consoles even when this is taking away 100% of the profit from the developer.. When you buy that used game its only gamestop etc seeing that profit. |
- Emulator are legal, ROMs are piracy (and you won't put a SNES cartridge on your PC, will you?). If you need the BIOS, it's also illegal.
- If I sell my car to someone, should the police go after me? It's mine, I can do whathever I want with it.

I know people prefer Valve. It's actually MS's fault: they keep screwing PC gamers (GFWL, "Xbox games on PC" 180, no mods, list goes on). But mind that they own Windows, they can do whatever they want with it because they have a monopoly to back them up. If they simply blocked Valve and said "all software now must go through Windows Store", what will you do? Buy a Mac or use Linux (I do)? You'll have to accept it. It wouldn't even be illegal since that's what Apple and Google do, banning all 3rd party stores. For Apple, you have to jaibreak to avoid this.
So I'll fix the analogy: Valve has 99% of the fans, but MS bribed the referees, TV transmission crew and all stadium staff.
