60 fps should be the bare minimum going forward, i totally agree. But that's no gold standard. I've been playing at 100+ fps on pc for over a decade, especially on shooters and there's no way to go lower anymore. Recently bought the gtx 1070 and was on 200 fps in battlefield 4 (1080p low settings) locked. For single player sure 60 could be perfectly fine though
