Seems the thread is derailed already, oh well some more pros
Consoles:
- Best actual playtime vs everything else ratio (at the cost of customization)
PC:
- Can play anything the way you want (if you invest the time in it)
I find it a worrying trend that consoles get graphics and controller settings nowadays. I just want it to work without worrying about dead zones and analog sensitivity in racers. Make it work instead of telling the user to figure it out. Graphic settings are a slippery slope too. Console games used to be carefully optimized, I don't want to hear you can always turn on/off dof to hide the jaggies/fix the frame rate in certain areas.
In a nutshell:
Consoles: Play it the way it was meant to be played.
PC: Play it the way you want to play it.
I wish it would stay that way, both are great under the right circumstances.
