My calendar reads "September 16th, 2016."  I thought we as a society have gotten past social stereotypes in this day and age.  Oops.  I did day "as a society" as the key phrase.  There are still a few who still stereotype.  What are you gonna do.

Sometimes stereotypes fit.  I stereotype people all the time.  I see a hipster and I automatically think douche which I am usually right.  I see a very fat person and I think they must love junk food and not enjoy being too active.  That is usually the case.  I can keep going if you want me to.
