Unfortunately I am limited by last century copper twisted pair infrustructure, I only have ADSL 2+ with Annex M modulation, with a speed of roughly 10Mbps down/2Mbps up.
These 10's of Gigabytes worth of downloads are painfull. Did you know I have over a Terabytes worth of Updates, DLC and Games waiting to download on my Xbox One? :P
My Steam Library is just as bad...

I'm not allergic to going digital, just the infrustructure doesn't exist where I am for it to be entirely feasible, especially when my line is being used for hosting/server stuff and other household users.

Oh... in your case I can see the draw for physical media... Mine is the exact opposite somewhat. Its actually cheaper for me to go digital.

First off I pay around $140 for my 55Mb/s broadband service monthly. Yes i know its expensive but its pays off, and its shared between 3 people (apartment beside and under me) who thankfully a Facebook and email only net users. Lets take games for instance. If i bought a $60 disc, by the time it gets to my house i would have paod a total of around $100. By thr time you factor in shipping and custom duties. So it's in my best interest to just download everything since I have no caps.

I don't think my ISP actually wants anyone on the 55Mb/s service though, I think they made it prohibitively expensive considering how cheap the 21Mb/s service is (that's like $50/month).
