Sure there is. It's important to call out companies that do consumer unfriendly BS just to enrich themselves even more. Having exclusive games that are also sold through exclusive channels only benefits the company and adds hassle for the consumer. Unless you are the company itself there is no reason to defend shitty behavior like that.
Also how can I diss a whole company when the company doesn'the even know I exist?
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
