I don't mind him cutting off the PC because without that distinction, this thread would become a "post your favorite Crysis screenshot" festival. Anyone with a brain knows that the PC is technologically superior to the most powerful console, even at console launch. From there it only goes downhill as the PC keeps gaining power. |
That's absolutely fine, RP, but then people have to play it the other way, too.
People complain about the Wii's low power, then the second I mention the PC the conversation goes mum and it's considered irrelevant. We talk about the PS3/360/PC platform, but the second I compare the tech in the PC to the PS3/360 the conversation ends. We include the Wii in conversations about pretty graphics (I assume it was included in this thread? It wasn't specifically excluded the way the PC was), which obviously isn't fair to the Wii, but the second we bring the PC in, it's unfair.
It's like an entire system set up to defend the 360/PS3. Include the Wii/PC when it suits, exclude them when it doesn't.
I don't want to see any more discussions about the PC/PS3/360 platform, and I want to make sure, when threads like this are made, it's "What's the prettiest DS game? 360/PS3/360/Wii don't count," or "What's the prettiest Wii game? 360/PS3/PC don't count," Either separate all the platforms, or separate none of them. Again, I'm just so sick and tired of the PC being included only when it's good for the PS3/360.
