I decide good graphics not by technical aspects but what i would rather play with. that being said.
For me, Metroid Prime series (even the GC ones).
The amazing detail and level design make the world so incredible that even after playing the best 360/PS3 has to offer, i still prefer Prime's. it just looks better what can i say (and that doesn't mean better technically).
I can show you, say, a picture of an apple. It is the most realistic apple you have ever seen, and it is difficult to distinguish it from the real one. You can say "wow it looks so real" but not "wow it looks so good!"
It's difficult to explain, but i prefer playing with Metroid's / Prime's graphics over Gears / Uncharted graphics.
