Will PS5 have to be backwards compatible now?

Doubt it. It's in Sony's best interest to sell ps4s still after introducing ps5s. We are talking hundreds of thousands of ps4s they are able to sell after introduction of ps5. Let's say 200,000 x $250.00 that's 50million in revenue. Sony knows this, and it is why ps4 is not backwards compatible.
