Uuuhhh....What?

1. Nope. It's an interesting balancing point politicaly for the US. Since we need to keep them happy (and safe) because of their strategic location and generally western beliefs, and having to stay freindly with the Islamic nations of the region (especially the Saudis) for their economic importance. But certainly not the most importnat place in the world.

2. What he did to Iran? You mean defuse an increasingly hostile situation with a very dangerous and potentially nuclear regime by joining up with half a dozen or so other nations to ease up on economic sanctions?

The deal is a disaster, it empowered Iran in the long run, putting all of us in risk

A disaster? Why? In what way? Is severly limits Irans ability to enrich uranium and the types of enriched uranium it can create. It gives outside countries access to inspect and monitor Irans activities surrounding it's nuclear program and holds them accountable for their actions reguarding such a program. The easing of economic sanctions allows for more economic growth in the country which, as we've seen in other countries in the region, can lead to a tendancy towards western socialization.

Are their negatives? Of course. But a disaster? Not by a long shot.
